Sorry Caucasians have more history than almost every other race. No, White History Month isn’t every other month. We don’t celebrate ‘On this day, 200 years ago, this white dude did this.’ And yes, in most history classes, we do learn about white history, but that’s because it’s the general history class. If you want to learn about different races and their history, take a fucking class that teaches that. Hell, I took a class last semester that taught all about Middle Eastern and Asian history. There are classes that teach diverse history, you just need to find them. And if it bothers you that bad, complain to your goddam administration, tell them to teach about African history in a class. And yes, we did destroy a lot of civilisations as we explored the world, but that’s usually what wars are. If nobody asked for assimilation, why didn’t they fight us? And if they did, and we crushed them, boo hoo, it happened.
I hate people that say ‘White History Month is all the other months.’ It’s not fucking true. Get over yourselves.
